same here for me, software version 21.00 on my fenix 5.
Additionally when running outside (with GPS) in minus degrees the battery drains like crazy, after 10-20 mins the watch is alerting of low battery level <5%.
This issue resurfaced recently in the current version of the app 4.73.1 and earlier. Basically the app is using location in the background all the time, which drains the battery.
