• RE: Fenix 6 Series - 20.50 Public Release

I have tried many beta versions of fw. The altimeter is still bad. And I'm not going to compare that with other brands (cheaper). Even on short distances (3km) from point A to point A. I never returned to the same height. We have home
    2x F6 pro. It…

Are you wearing the HRM-Run here?
If so is how cadence would be computed in a timed activity.

In any case, if you do a Run activity (and presume a Hike one) without GPS or a foot pod then the pace (and hence distance) is modelled from your arm swing…

Hi there, I do high repetition training, things like box jumps, weighted squats, push ups, crunches, mountain climbers, burpees etc etc, no a lot of running but some short distance in between sets, I do it to get my heart rate up and to get cardio fitness…
  • RE: Max aerobic speed

Yes, it can be converted to regular speed, or pace, so it suffers the same limitations.

But, you know that to improve your skills, you have to train at 100% MAS on short distance.

You can see some mas value for long distance in the link. For example a…

  • RE: Fenix 5x general questions & software improvement ideas

You never actually sync TO GCM. You sync THROUGH GCM to the garmin servers.

As far as sunrise/sunset, that can actually vary a bit even with a short change in distance, and also due to if the minute is truncated or rounded up. The small difference…

detailled step tracking - max distance in one journey

I'm very interested in getting visibility to the 15 minute chunks of walking I do, and track with vivofit. I'm going through physio therapy to regain my distance walking.

    Using the 15 min…

    Hey.

I've just tried the running indoors profile on a treadmill over a quick ish 5k. It ended up being over 1k short of the actual distance. Is it working it out on arm swings on steps taken.

I wasn't expecting it to be accurate but 1k out is…
  • RE: Best GPS Settings For Chicago (Lower Wacker, etc)

Honestly, I do not think any GPS firmware(or any GPS only watch) will ever help in downtown areas with tall buildings. Best bet with the 935 will be a footpod (calibrated if not a Stryd) for both distance and pace. Leave the GPS on for the pretty maps…
  • RE: Forgot to press save after run. Can I retrieve data ?

Did you try a recovery tool as advised by ? If the recovery tool did not find any deleted file, then you can only add the activity manually (or run again).

My advice is to record a short run, then editing it and adjusting the distance so that…
