You are ~50m short in the required distance. 50 miles is 80.4672km. You only did 80.41km or 49.96 miles. (1 mile = 1.6093km)

I have back dated my watch to 19.41, and it works perfectly now. No more short distances. Gonna stick to this version for a while now with Auto Updates disabled. GARMIN please fix the issue ASAP.

Excellent tip, Easthim. Thank you. On my device, long press brings up a submenu with Music Controls as default. Scrolled down to locate Zoom option. Works great for short distance circuits like the test images posted above.

A wheel sensor should improve short-term distance and speed measurements, especially in situations with poor GPS reception.  That's basically why Garmin wheel sensors and the capability to use them exists.

This is really interesting. What happened in the end? I have a Feni6 6 and in the last two weeks it has been totally sporadic.  It has been currubg distance short (e.g a 7km run is 0.5km short despite having locked signal) and pace is all over the place…

I owned both Fenix 6X and Fenix 7X. As I commented above, Fenix 6X was never truly awful but it was mediocre most of the time. The accuracy was fine on a completely open terrain, but if there were at least some trees around, it seemed to switch to the…

I use almost golf balls and it picks them up everytime( 95%). The ball speed and launch angle are both lower than real golf balls so the distances are short. However if you use E6 you can increase the altitude which can make the distances pretty good…

This thread is a game changer Smiley

Had exactly that problem yesterday / and since the default zoom level was changed some time ago... With difficult terrain (multiple intersections within short distance) it's really difficult to catch the right turn.

I need to wear reading glasses for short distance work - watch, phone, laptop. Even so, I can make it the information on the watch with eight fields displayed, without my glasses, at least when walking, if not running.
