Well, 6 months later I still haven't solved the problem. Every track log I upload to Garmin Connect gets automatically "corrected" to the terrain. It doesn't matter if I enable or disable the elevation correction in Connect, it still does the correction…

Mit Tacho meinst Du wohl die Reisedaten und mit "alter Track" ist vermutlich der aktuelle Track gemeint, oder vielleicht doch ein bereits gespeicherter Track, der sich im Trackmanager befindet?…

... im Menue Vermeidungen nicht Verkehrsfunk zu schreiben sondern Verkehrsstau.

Das wird bei Garmin anscheinend unterschiedlich gehandhabt. Im Nüvi 1450T von meiner besseren Hälfte steht da "Stau".

Diese Datei (Oregon_WebUpdater__400.gcd) muss umbenannt werden in gupdate.gcd und dann in das Verzeichnis \garmin\ auf…

Das meiste sollte in den Profilen gespeichert sein, wenn man die wieder zurückkopiert.

Had a similar problem with my Zumo. I had to remove & re-install the battery, then it unfroze itself and has worked fine ever since.

Having confirmed that this is a 3D only startup crash, and noticing that you've got 10.6.4 installed, I believe that this patch for OSX may allow you to run in 3D mode again without issues: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4286

Try zooming in, and see if detail starts to appear.

You probably need to have your GPS plugged in for the maps to appear in BaseCamp.
