R39O, I have found the same issue with that little POS plastic black piece that would be the arm slider to trigger the spring loaded on/off-lock mechanism. How could GARMIN approve such a POS design!?

Bei meinem 1490 wird es auch angezeigt, da es sich aber um ein 1695 beim Fragesteller handelt, dieses jedoch eine andere Firmware als das 1490 verwendet, ist es eigentlich nicht eigenartig! :D
