Garmin nuvi 760 SWITCH issue

Garmin nuvi 760 perfectly working, all of a sudden, the start up switch is not working anymore, without any reason , as if it is broken inside. My nuvi 760 work perfectly on the car support. Did anyone have this issue , and how does Garmin deal with this quality/reliability problem ?

Mine failed too. I am technically savvy enough to replace it, but I need a new one first to replace it with. Mine is physically damaged.

Anybody got any ideas on where I might get one? Part number? Source? ETC?

Garmin nuvi 760 SWITCH issue

R39O, I have found the same issue with that little POS plastic black piece that would be the arm slider to trigger the spring loaded on/off-lock mechanism. How could GARMIN approve such a POS design!?

Any ideas on making a replacement part to fit in there? What did you end up doing?
