The other free one for the mac is QmapShack - it's definitely a bit of a Basecamp knockoff BUT it can load garmin .img map files. Can create tracks or routes. It's definitely a bit rough around the edges but does work.

I was hoping that Venu 2 using it's FirstBeat algo for sleep analysis would perform better than other devices. You've told that switch to Venu 2 from the other device, I wonder what were you using before?

I have checked with two users that reported the issue and both have software version 3.07
