I had an older inreach that connected to the Earthmate app. I recently upgraded to the gpsmap86sci and found that it connects to a completely different app. One feature that I used often was the noaa chart downloads in the Earthmate app, it was very helpful…
…So the way I understood the linked discussion is that the bezel is an integral part of the antenna - so called EXO antenna. It is inductively connected to an inner antenna, which in turn connected to the board via the spring rods.
Dist to dest will only show a value if you following a course. I cannot see the label for the top 2 data fields, butt the others will show no value unless you following a course.
The following (which is how I'm getting the data) returns INVALID_HTTP_BODY_IN_NETWORK_RESPONSE.

I really like the watchface. I noticed that the date that is displayed is incorrect. It says it's May 31, but it should be Jan 14. I do not know how long it's been wrong.
I actually stumbled on that thread during my research before even contacting Garmin Spain or this forum. From the solution post the only thing I can notice is deleting gmapprom.img which I also already did. And I think I also tried long (not quick) format…
