What I meant was, that a course can be saved directly as course, or as route or track. When saved as Route, the names of the waypoints are displayed on the watch, similar to the second screenshot.

Thanks, it worked for me too. I did have to re-establish Garmin pay. Don’t know why I bothered since I already have Apple Pay!
Looks like there was a glitch with the communication between my watch and the app. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and everything is working fine now. Thank you y'all for your feedback and quick responses!
