No - that's definitely weird and the first thought like above was the display timeout. May be worth switching it on then off to reset that setting in case some weird bug triggered it?

I would export activities out of the account you don't want to use, then import them into the account you want to use. You can do this from the web interface - https://connect.garmin.com/modern/
