While I agree that GPS-based 1-sec current pace doesn't make any sense - Garmin did have it on older models (such as the FR405CX).

Is it the current pace or lap pace?

Who can help. I want to hear what my pace is every 1 minute, but I get no sound.
In audio notifications I go to pace warning status: on.
Type: current pace/speed. Frequency 1 minute.
The phone sound is on, but I can't hear anything. What am I doing wrong…
Two additional comments after a number of exercises. The GPS is running indeed in the background and the current pace is measured, however, for the "best pace" it gives some weird, high no.
