  • RE: OT: Stryd calibration feedback

Well Stryd claim that you don't need to calibrate it (so 100 should work) and for me that seems to be more or less true with an auto calibration very close to 100.

TBH I only use the Stryd for pace or distance indoors as I find GPS works well enough…

Some weird stuff going on, Cardiometer wasn't working anymore, removed->reinstalled : ok. Then the Countdown watch face stopped working (standard watch face when activated)...Reinstalled Countdown, so far so good !

920 has been my main "goto" device for the last year. Prior to that was 620 and/or 910.
Got the 230 and 630 as well now partly as just like to use 2 devices. Say one to look at pace in a bigger font size (just current pace and lap pace on one…

Somewhat constant pace helps, yes, it is trying to correlate you effort (HR) with a pace.  Steady pace and flat conditions helps this, it wants to see a high HR that is steady or slightly rising ...with a certain pace.  That is then looked up in their data…

Normally the F5+ has a quite good GPS-reception in the woods, but any electromagnetic radiation can disturb the reception (power lines, trains, GPS spoofing and jamming). I once had a similar issue with my Fenix 3 after I passed by a guy who started a…

Don’t think it’s based on lap pace. Not exactly sure how garmin calculate your current pace but this is what the alerts are based on. If your set a narrow range then you are likely to get lots of alerts unless you are really good at staying on pace and…

I have an old SDM4 (branded Adidas actually !). I tried it, and had a couple of significant errors at time. but it does seem more accurate. Maybe it needs to be calibrated more than the Stryd ? The Stryd power stuff seems useless to me, I'm not running…

Not sure if anyone else has run in to this, but I did an interval workout yesterday with the Run activity that was loaded on the watch from the calendar.  Everything worked as usual, but while I was on the special interval screen the alerts that my pace…

Okay Moo5e. Where did I say that measuring speed is the main function of a car? :)

And since we now jump to sports-tracking, gps position is not the only thing that is measured. My apologies if I was unclear, but I was speaking about not paying to much…
