  • RE: 3 test runs in London

Getting my Epix 2 hopefully by Monday. I also use Stryd for my pace/distance on my 6x pro solar as it's so much more accurate, but I'm just curious how the Epix would go with current pace/distance whilst out running using the multiband GNSS without the…

Cheers, thanks Thibaud J. Much appreciated.

I have been through the Garmin Connect app on my phone and into the Activity Options, but it only gives you these options...

I do not see the difference between instant and avg pace ;)

The lap pace is the average pace of the lap so far and the instant pace is the current pace. Due to smoothing, e.g. using the moving average method, there is a delay.

    So, the lap pace…

Thanks yes I know but you can only change the bottom field, the top is locked to heart rate. so if I want to campare current pace to average pace for examplie I have to scroll through while im running. I would like the option to choose what the top display…

As the error of the current pace is very high at low pace, auto stop doesn't work well then. I once read that the reason should be, that at low speed the device cannot differentiate well between real and reflected signals.

If the hiking app has all…

    Hi guys,

I'm trying Garmin coach based training and many are intervals where you have to hit certain pace within a narrow spread. This is always difficult and the watch is constantly beeping that I'm either too fast or too slow. Would be great if I…

Garmin doesn't tell and there isn't a configuration option to change it. I think this is the hardest data to compute from a GPS based signal and it could even change from version to version. I've noticed that the interval used isn't even the same when…

Are both watches set on a 1 second recording interval? If on smart irecording, that night explain the distance difference. I’m not sure, but I think both use the same gps chipset, although there might be a difference in firmware that might explain differences…

I created an outdoor track app, and use that. Autolap turned off (I trigger manually depending on the session) and have specific fields on different screens that I use depending on the session. Current pace, lap pace, lap distance, lap time, last lap…
