  • RE: FR255 Feature Request : Stride length without RD pod

After some thinking, I realise it is even simpler. You can compute it easily from pace and cadence.
If you use metric units for pace (min/km), simply start with 1000 [m/km], then divide by current pace [min/km], and then divide by current cadence [steps…

Now that GAP is officially supported, I would love to be able to use GAP during running workouts. There is a workout screen, that shows your target pace and current pace. It uses regular pace right now, and there is no way to edit that screen. Please…

This may be desired behaviour, although it needs a “current pace” field on that screen for it to make sense. If working by power or HR you would expect to modify your effort based on your current output or HR, not the average for the interval, so it probably…

I've recently replaced my Forerunner 305 with a FR 45 and can't figure out if or how to change the display to read the lap pace vs. current pace.  I see in the manual that it is a possibility to use lap pace, but no instructions about how to toggle…

I thought this was the case too, but then I realize the "pace" that's shown on the workout screen is just the average pace for the entire run so far. It's not current pace or lap pace or anything other than overall average. It threw me off because it…

But the current pace of the 935 is smoothed to a certain extent.

As mentioned the "problem" is that at walking speeds even small changes in your pace/speed show up as large pace changes.

I find speed a "better" metric to look at than pace at…

Lap pace is set to current pace for the first 20 secs of a new lap so may well jump around a fair bit during that time while it stabilises. I've not seen lap pace jumping about for an entire lap however.

Perhaps you can post your GC link to any problematic…

Is this happening in a normal run or a workout?

And then is it the start of a new lap? If so, that makes some sense as lap pace is shown as current pace for the first 20 secs of a new lap. I've never seen lap pace consistently jump around as you describe…

    Hi
One feature that I love about my 225, was that in my custom workouts, it gave me a screen with the distance remaining for each assigned interval and my current pace.

In the 235, I'm not getting that screen.

    Anyone knows if distance remaining…
