Nów track is ok but current pace is random... IT shows 5:30 but the real pace is about 4:30. Than jumps to 4:40 and again 5:15. I don't remember Such problems before this update.

improvement for workouts... 1 increase data field numbers font. 2 improve current pace update. 3 in interval mode when opening repetitions, the lap takes 10 seconds on the screen, the transition could be faster. update 14.13 is improved congratulations…
If you are a sophisticated runner, a 800€ premium watch is unfortunately not enough to get an accurate pace.
You will also need a footpod (like stryd). With that combined, you are able to flat out the current pace nicely.
My old 210 always gave me avg pace when I used the lap function. Is this not possible on the 245? When I use manual laps, I get the current pace during the lap, which is useless for me.
Suggestions?

Is there a way to modify workout data screen? It shows step pace which without current pace is pretty much useless with longer steps and I end up using my custom screen which then makes workout data screen obsolete and obtrusive.
I am now confused by the post and following discussion. I think 8787698's and Michael_Holzner's reactions point to the confusion also. We need to distinguish 2 different discussions:
a) The Epix2 is displaying the current pace on the workout screen…
I had "lap pace" but I've switched to "current pace" to keep it consistent with the RunnerWindowFR field I use as the "first" screen.
I'd found that green text on black on a beta version of RunnerWindowFR made it easier…
When running with the Garmin Coach program the watch shows a Pace Gauge with the green and red bars. They indicate the target pace interval for the current workout.
During the run the gauge has a nice responsive moving average to determine the current…
