Music unusable - watch does not function as advertised (since forever)

You can add non working alltimeter and chart scale bugs to this list. The watch can't even do the few tasks it's supposed to be good at. 

Altimeter always displays completely wrong elevation in activities. Instead of automatically calibrating the altimeter with DEM once you get gps, you have to MANUALLY do it every single time. 

The scaling in the speed chart doesn't work either, once you ride fast the whole graph gets cut off. Software on this thing is a joke.

Best part is the map which auto opens point context menu if you touch somewhere in the map. Panning the map is almost impossible thanks to this. Don't get me started on the extremely buggy and sluggish PAID outdoor maps+ experience...

I agree the Marq2 (carbon) is a total desaster. My old Marq worked flawless. I observed that the watch seems to have the biggest problems with earphones with qualcom chipsets.

I found a workaround for me, an because of this my earphone connection is much more stable. 

At first i changed the HR strap from ANT to BT connection. Then i pair the headphone first an then the HR strap. It would be interessting if it works for you also.

Thanks for the tip, will check tomorrow! I re-installed the Spotify app and this seems to help (less frequent drop outs, but still).   

This stuff is still not working, like, at all. What is this Kelly_ODQA and her team doing? Are they capable to do anything else than install bugs? This is broken for years now, while it used to work a long time ago. How can you break stuff, i just cannot believe this.

Garmin people, music is a basic feature of this device just like GPS and heart rate. If you do not get this right, this watch is useless to me. I stop the beta program, to avoid other basic stuff gets broken. What a utter mess.

Garmin-Laurie you have some work to do.

When I contact Garmin support here in Belgium they ask me to send pictures of the issue. I laughed but this is beyond sadness.

Garmin-Laurie Quid? I cannot use the device as intended, product is not conform adverted.

Did you call Garmin support and report your issues?
It is user forum and you can complain here but it gives you nothing.

Unfortunately, you better get used to it. His way of forum contribution is complaining. His stated goal is to change Garmin's corporate behavior through forum comments.
