Yes, both will sync your data via Garmin Connect and back to the other watch. IIRC the only metric which currently doesn't get synced is Body Battery.

I'd keep it. But that watch is never going to hold its value. In fact, it will go in the opposite direction each and every month of ownership, especially when the next generation of Marq comes out. 

Unless you truly see yourself using it often enough for it to matter, I'd sell it. Because, not too long from now, it will just sit in a box or drawer somewhere and few will offer you anything close to what you are being offered now a year from now. But I totally can imagine how you feel about the watch and its relative value to you; after all, you paid over $2K for it and it is a fantastic watch. I have such a hard time letting go of my watches also. 

Why wouldn’t you keep the Marq and wait for something that is worth replacing it with?

I purchased a Fenix 8 51 mm to replace my Quatix 6X.  I found i couldn't even get $300 Cdn (not even offers) for it so I gave it to a relative.  (Also gave away a Fenix Chronos that was orriginally $2000 Cdn).  Electronics do not retain their value.

I have an F7 an F8 and a Marq Gen2 that I wear regularly. Body battery for me is the same on all watches. The only thing I have to do  to ensure consistent data is to sleep with the F8 as it is set as my primary wearable. 

Do you have the F7 and Marq 2 set as your primary training device ?
