Anyone with experience on returning the watch for repair after warranty expires?

I wonder if the Marq's battery (for instance) can be changed by Garmin after a few year of use as opposed to throw the watch away and buy a new one Cry

  • I like watches, still have all my Fenixes and a Marq Gen 2 Aviator and am awaiting the delivery of Ti/Ti Hybrid Chronos so I guess I'll be hanging on to mine.

I guess I just want to be able to enjoy having nice things without feeling like I'm being taken advantage of.

Yes that would be nice Rolling eyes

  • My Marq Adventurer Gen1 battery stopped charging after warranty. Opted to keep watch rather than trade in. $1200 for a used certified watch but $600 if I trade in my watch. And then risk the used watch going out again! Disappointed with the Marq  and would not buy  again . Couple of local watch repair shops  can’t fix because can’t get the parts.

  • I assume that is a new policy. My Marq gen1 had some issues in the warranty period and I got back a refurbished one. It worked well until a few months away, and I do not have GPS working now (only from time to time) and as it was out of warranty there is nothing to be done than either by a new one, or, as told by Garmin, use buyback with a 30% discount but unfortunately will receive still a gen1. Well, what I am trying to say is, I wonder if the GPS issue was not already 'baked' in the refurbished unit I got when replaced my original one... Well, just saying.
