Tempe sensor

Good afternoon. When an external Tempe sensor was connected, Fenix7 showed the temperature detected by the sensor. Fenix8 shows the temperature from the internal sensor. Can this be fixed?

First you need the Tempe sensor, which Garmin has discontinued. Then--from Connect IQ--you get the excellent App called Temps from jim_m_58. Open Temps from the Glance list.

There are some other Apps which access the Tempe sensor, they are also great. You specifically ask about the screen shown.

Thanks heaps, I have a Tempe and on my Fenix 7X I could pick Garmin temp glance and it would connect and show the Tempe temp, on my new Garmin 8 this is not an option.

Hey Jim: nice widget. For which period of time is the high/low graph for the internal temperature? Wouldn’t it be possible to show this (also) for the tempe sensor data?

Depending on the device, for internal it's typically 4-6 hours

Again with the Tempe, doing something like high/low would requires the app to be constantly connected and running in the foreground.

So, is this solved or not? I have the same issue, I just want to have a widget (NOT in an activity) which shows the Tempe temperature and not the interior one.
