It will show the Tempe Sensor when you are doing an activity. You just need to pick it in the data field you want. You can also get an app from the app store(there is more then one) to show both at once or even multiple Tempes.

I am using the maca88 Tempe Field app. It works well. It records Min, Max and Avg temp from the Tempe in any activity I added the field to.

For example, Walking has a screen with the Tempe Field added. Below is data added to the Walking Activity:

During the activity, everything works as it should. I'm interested in the temperature readings in the normal mode. On F7, the widget shows the temperature from the sensor always when it is connected to the clock.

I am trying to recall if the Temperature Glance on my Fenix 7 showed the Tempe data. I seam to recall I needed a 3rd party app for that. I just tested an app on my Fenix 8 and it did show temp from the internal and Tempe sensors on the screen. That app did not appear to graph both.

I wrote the Temp apps.  Graphing the Tempe would require being connected to the Tempe for extended period, with the app running, which wouldn't be really convenient and would also impact the battery.

BTW: the sad news is: 

Garmin has discontinued tempe sensor!
