I am sorry to hear you are having this issue. There are a few initial steps I would recommend trying.
I think you also need log in your Garmin Account on the website (not Garmin Connect) and change your country to US.
I saw where someone had success by connecting the device to Garmin Express and deleting the files in history.
I've also seen where a factory reset and not bringing settings from the backup has helped.
I don't get as far as being able to add a card as I've said several times.

I had a similar issue a few months ago adding my Amazon Prime Visa that was not the fault of garmin pay at all. I was able to add all my other cards fine, but this one just refused. My suggestions is when adding the card to look at a billing state and the mailing address, enter into garmin pay exactly as it's on your mailing address. I've seen if fail on mine when I didn't do this. For me even after this I'd still get an error from Chase/Garmin. I called chase and they said it was a known issue with all garmin pay customers using a chase amazon card. They fixed it for all customers about a month later. I'd suggest calling your bank. If the card in question causing problems now is already added to a garmin digital wallet, they can delete and then you can try again. Check if your bank is on the supported list to add as well.
As I've said several times, I don't get that far.I have no option to enter any card details because Garmin pay doesn't get to that point in the process.
Call garmin support. Don't chat or email. Call.
I've done that,next to useless.Just basically ran through all the stuff on here.
Can't be arsed with it,I'll just use my phone.

It's just done a strange thing,it's actually gone to the add card page which it's never done before but then it says it is not connected via Bluetooth which it obviously is.
It says Fenix 8 not connected to Garmin pay
