The ECG app is missing. It's disappeared off my watch and I live in the US and it was previously active.

Same with me. Does not show the ECG.
You have to first set it up in the Connect App on your phone.
It's weird, I swear I created a shortcut to ECG, somewhere in my glances or something. I can't find it now.
The ECG app gets buried in the menus and can be near impossible to find if you don't know where to look, or have not used it in a while. After looking at this thread it took me almost 5 minutes to find it, and Garmin's instructions are no help.
press the upper right button to bring up activities, but don't press a second time, it's in the list below the activities name.
you could scroll down, but it's probably easier to scroll up (it should be somewhere near the bottom of the list)
I really wish there was a better way, navigating the glances, apps, activities etc of a Garmin watch can be excruciatingly confusing
Oh and you do have to set it up first. If you can't find it where I said it was, it's probably not set up. It's there and working in 11.89
Go to Settings in the Connect app. It is the third one down.
I can't find ECG after when I came back to stable version. . when I go to configuratatelion option I see only historical data.
So how to activate again reinstal connect or hard reset f8?
Try the solution from this link for the countries that have ECG option.
I didn't have ECG option when I setup my F8. Then I followed the solution from the above link, and it's now working.
It also works in the UK with a bit of faffing about.
Thanks.I learned a new word today. "Faffing"
Thank you very much. It is ridiculous that it doesn’t show up in “activities” when you enter through settings. Stupid!
