There is still no Option to Change the Brightness in low Light environment in 11.89
It is nearly not readable, there must be an Option to change this!

Thanks, yes I know the problem is known,
but it's been known for a month now
and I don't think it can be that difficult
to make an option to also make the dimming level adjustable
just like the normal…I second this. The display is completely unreadable in low light mode.
A temporary workaround is to activate the flashlight. This also makes the display light up. The display dims down after a while so…
Thank you !! I was afraid my watch was defective.
Amoled display is great but it’s dimmed too much when in dark mode environment…
edit : issue has been acknowledged here :
I don't think it's a hardware problem. During the day in normal lighting conditions the brightness is more than sufficient, but in the evening when the surroundings get dark the display is simply set too dark. As soon as I brighten the surroundings the display also gets brighter, so the dimming just needs to be limited or, even better, made adjustable by the user.
I have the Amoled 51MM, and as i read some more have the same Problem.

This looks fine to me in pitch dark.
It’s working exactly how every other smartwatch I have had has since the original moto watch years and years ago. It’s just something else for people to complain about.
I know. This forum has more complainers than all the other forums i go on put together... lol
Thanks, yes yours looks brighter than mine, but when I take a photo with the camera, mine looks just as bright but in reality it is much darker, only the time display is legible, all data entries are too dark, does yours look that bright in reality too? Then mine really must have a hardware problem
I don't understand such insinuations, a forum is there to exchange experiences and possible problems. As I know from experience, many products have hardware and software problems and we can certainly talk about that.
I have been a Garmin Fenix user for years and have had almost all models so far and have been very happy with them. But now I have this problem with this one and I want to know if others have it too.
If I compare mine with my friend's Apple Ultra, his is much brighter in these conditions. I know that it is not directly comparable (battery consumption...) but you could also leave the dimming level to the user just like the normal brightness is adjustable.
My phone camera has a pro mode, which allows me to set the ISO manually. I kept setting it lower until it matched what my eyes see, then took the picture.
Ah, thank you, then maybe my Fenix has really a Hardware Problem, i will call the Garmin Support
