Unstable bluetooth/ music playback

I listen to music on my watch through Spotify while running. The playback performs great when it's just headphones connected however when the watch is also connected to a HRM, the music playback is janky and cuts in and out constantly. I can only assume this is an issue with Bluetooth when both external devices are connected.

Note - I've been running with this setup on my previous Fenix 7 with no issue.

Please fix.

Also having issues with the music coming out of both the speaker and headphones as soon as I start my my run. Then I pause, go back to headphones, disable enable and things work fine. Super unstable..…

I have just received my Fenix 8 51 AMOLED and had two runs, one indoor and one outdoor. I have experienced the same issue as you in the outdoor run only. I have no external HRM, so issue is something else…

Super unstable...lets go team jfc, my Fenix 6 was playing music without issues. Skipping songs will sometimes struggle and pause itself too. Airpods 4

Is it the same when you connect HRM via ANT+ so there is only one BT device connected?

Yes I had the same problem but when you start the workout make sure that the headphones are connected and playing spotify. Then start the workout. Starting the sound within the workout gives all stranges things like described in the other reply's. (edited: I use also the HPROplus connected)

Tried again today. Before I reset the headphones (Beats Fit Pro) and re-paired. It was better, but still have few moments with skipping.

Running in a the city with skyscrapers and trees. IMHO the skip happens when the GPS struggle to get good signal -> it is a CPU issue Garmin-Laurie

Got this issue too 11.90 fw.

1. Started music playing on my NANK headphones

2. Started an outdoor run after acquiring GPS. Aquire took more than 40 seconds in open air, lots of space, no trees.

3. Started running and music played fine for the first 6m.

4. Decided to change playlists and it went haywire. music controls stopped working properly via buttons and touch, couldn’t choose random.

5. Managed to get it playing again but then a voice prompt seemed to cause the playlist to restart !!!

6. Just left it playing and accepted that it’s another bug.

Really need this sorting out, my F6Pro doesn’t do anything like this m. Whole point of me using the F8 is tracking run data and playing / controlling music enroute.
