Fenix 8 navigation bug :Disable Bottom Black field not possible

Hi I used Fenix 7 before, I can't find anymore how to disable this big black box or data field on the bottom. The usual function on fenix 7 to disable data field or change map layout doesn't change this field. It pops up as soon a I navigate and this is really annoying having on fifth of the screen taken by one black field...some advices?

    Didn't notice any significant difference. Garmin really needs to change the position of the navigation arrow so you can see more of the course in front of you. It's a joke that this still has not been addressed when the issue wasn't present with the Epix.

    Unfortunately Garmin seems to think that this is a great “feature” and not an issue…

    You couldn't notice yet, as this is inside of "Beta Version 15.17 - 'Check for Updates Only"

    Hey Garmin. It's great that navigation settings are back, and I actually like that you can have navigation screens accessed by a seperate button or choose to have them appear in your activity...but please can we have a toggle in the navigation settings that removes the giant black part of the screen when navigating. 

    I always have the map setting as north up because ....well the map is a little laggy otherwise :-) but if I am running south I cannot see the part of the map I need to see.

    For my use case if this was implemented, navigation when in activities would be pretty much perfect.
