hum, i found nothing in the actual Beta for Fenix 8 and FR965, VA5/V3, and nothing in December 2024 update ... the article doesn't indicate its source !

Nothing over the web too, garmin support or manual F8.

Yes it is very bad. I'm questioning myself why I paid over 800£ for the flagship watch if the lower models are just keep getting new features but the expensive watch not.

Garmin-LaurieGarmin-Laurie can we get some clarification from the Garmin side?

Me too. I specifically paid extra for the flagship to have all the features of the cheaper Forerunners and something extra. I guess I miscalculated...

If Garmin wants to have customers in the future, it should seriously revise its behavior.

Very disappointed with Garmin. Converted all my family and friends to Garmin and now my very expensive watch and former flagship device doesn't even get the features my wife's cheaper Forerunner gets...

What's the "Workout Execution Score Improvements" feature? It's marked there as having been already brought to Forerunner 965, but I'm on the latest beta and I cannot remember seeing anything about it in any of the changelogs, nor have I noticed any difference in how execution score is shown. So are those tables real, leaked plans or what?

For me, this is especially disappointing for Fenix 7 Pro users. A little over a year old, this flagship model is already being left behind. Even more frustrating is the introduction of the Fenix E, which feels like a strange version of the Epix Gen 2. It almost seems like Garmin is mocking its users: still love your Epix Gen 2, which is identical to the new Fenix E, but want all the new features? Well, you’ll have to buy the new model.

From a marketing perspective, this is a poor move and reflects badly on Garmin as a company. I’m surprised this hasn’t been highlighted more in the reviews of the newer models.
