Dear all good morning!
Any news regarding ECG approval in Europe?
Update: August 23, 2024
At this time, ECG is not approved for Europe. Here are the countries that have ECG approved thus far.
As more countries complete their certification process through each government…
it should be clearly visible that this function will not work in the buyer’s country.
and Garmin should tell people before they check out.
They do!
don't know which country you…
but only for watches with the Gen 5 sensor. The F7S has never had the hardware.
Got an epix 2 late last year, with an expectation that ECG would be available in Europe soon. It's Q3 2024 and still nothing. Very frustrating Garmin.
Unfortunately it isn't up to Garmin but rather the European certification which is a long process. There are good videos and instructions on how to activate it regardless of your location.
Today they officially allowed it, finally approved it. But the strange thing is that only on Fenix 8 and Enduro 3. Although they have the same sensors. I couldn't install it on Fenix 7 Pro.
following this link, then Show compatible watch you will find the F7 and Epix 2 Pro listed

I just got official notification from Garmin about ECG availability in Poland and under lint to supported devices are only Fenix 8, Enduro 3 and Venu 3.
Also in device description on their web page ECG is now showed under Fenix 8 but not under Fenix 7
Excellent news!
Thanks for the info and links.
I don't see this option in the app on my Epix 2 Pro either. Garmin continues to screw up Fenix 7 family watches...
No ECG for Fenix 7 pro what a joke. With each month, with each patch, I become more and more disappointed.
No myslím že se ani toho EKG pro F7X PRO nedočkáme Garmin je podle mě pohřbil Fenixem 8 ale nemám důvod kupovat každý rok nové hodinky
