Hey everyone,
I've been experiencing a persistent issue with my Garmin Fenix 6 Sapphire and I'm hoping someone here might have some insights or a solution.
Occasionally, my watch displays an extremely low heart rate, often below 50 bpm. This happens even when I'm not sleeping, but rather performing normal activities like sitting, standing, or walking. When this issue occurs, I've found a workaround to get the heart rate back to normal: I intentionally take the watch off and wait for the sensors to turn off. Then, I put the watch back on. It takes a brief moment for it to recognize a heartbeat again. And once it does, the heart rate immediately jumps back into a normal range. The attached image shows an instance where it jumps from 39 to 91 bpm.
I've already tried troubleshooting this by installing several older software versions, both for the watch itself and the Sensor Hub. Additionally, I've factory reset the watch multiple times using the buttons. Unfortunately, none of these steps have resolved the problem.
Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this? Is this a known issue, or does it suggest a defect? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
