These are very similar apps. They will use GPS to track your path on a map screen. They will all also track your distance, time and speed for you. However, there are differences in how you would want to use them.

    1. The app you use to track your activity is how the activity will be classified in the Connect app. So if you want to track you hiking distances and your walking distances separately, you would want to use the appropriate app.
    2. The Hike app will have an additional data page for elevation information by default, since you are more likely to come across elevation changes while hiking.
    3. Track me is more generic. This would be something you would use to track you path, when you are not wanting it to be counted as a Walk or Hike workout. A great example would be: You park your car in a huge parking lot, then use Track me to get to your destination. You can then use your recorded Track me activity to navigate back to your car.
