Dear Garmin team (& users).
I have been using a Fenix 6S for several years mostly for running, hiking, cycling and swimming.
The device has worked well and reliably so far.
Since approx. 04/2025, there are issues with counting laps in the pool swim app.
Namely, the laps are not counted at all if previously a run (or hike) activity was recorded. The timer, however runs normally
(e.g. for a 200m swim 25m (-> 1 lap) within 3min40s were recognized).
A reboot of the watch normally solves the issue.
I am using the lap swim app which comes with pre-installed on the device.
Garmin Forums is this a known bug and what is the solution to it?
