I have been experiencing inconsistency with heart rate monitoring with my Fenix 6S pro, since sometimes it worked, and other times it didn't. I read that some people solved this situation by opening and closing the back cover of the the watch. In my case, the problem was solved simply by slightly tightening the screws on the back cover.
