Problem with Fenix 6 pro

Hello everyone,

I’ve recently encountered some problems with my Fenix 6 Pro watch.

  1. Weak Connectivity: There is a weak connection with my phone (Samsung S24 Ultra). The connection regularly drops, and then it won’t reconnect for several days.

  2. Notification Vibration: When the watch connects to the phone and a notification arrives, the vibration used to last for about 1 second. Now, when a notification arrives, the vibration lasts for over 5 seconds, and only after a delay does the notification appear on the watch screen.

  3. Slower Performance: The watch has become slower over time.

  4. Battery Drain: The battery drains very quickly now.

The steps I’ve already tried are: factory resetting the watch, clearing all data from the watch, uninstalling and reinstalling the app on my phone, but the issues still persist.

I would appreciate any advice on whether these problems can be fixed. The watch is about 4 years old. I also joined the Beta Program recently, and the current version on the watch is 28.02 (4a9440e).

  • Mine is 4 + year old too but still on 27 firmware. everything is still working good but using an iphone. battery shows 14 days when charged but it seems like it lasts around 10 days. i do not use notifications except when i am waiting for my walmart order and it seems to be working fine. Was everything good with 27 ?

  • To be honest, while everything has been working as it should for the last few years, I never even looked at what system was on the watch.. can it somehow be installed now 27?

    Yes, for almost a year now. Also 28.02 has just been released. If they don't install automatically you can do it with Garmin Express.

  • Hello same pbm to my own watch.

    I disabled the SpO² to gain some days for the battery but I still see 3 days battery use for a real 1 day (even without any activitie).

    And it's only a 3 years old...

    And today the watch stopped working (on connect it seems that happen at 4:00 AM) But I can't reboot the watch.

    I have the same problems with my Garmin Fenix 6.

    Also did full reset, reinstallingg etc etc.

    Tried to connect watch with my 2nd phone (Iphone) and problems are the same.

    I think new software is the cause. The problems starter 2 or 3 days ago. I see now that the new software was released on March 31st and my problems started soon after that. Before that no problems at all
