Why is my watch Fenix 6 suddenly stopped recording swimming distance in the pool? Usual 25m setting is on.

My Fenix 6 Sapphire suddenly stopped recording length in the pool. I had it for years working absolutely fine. It also recently stopped recording my heart rate - I noticed the green light not coming on. Any advice would be much appreciated. Ideally I do not want another watch, this has been great.

Looks like the internal sensor package malfunctioned. First, try rebooting the watch. If this does not help, then try a factory reset. And if that does not help either, then I'm afraid the watch is broken…
