No Weather Widget Info

Software version 27.00

It's been at least 4-6 weeks, I've had no data from the weather widget. Tried all previous fixes with no luck.

iPhone 16 on current iOS

Anyone else having this issue?

    Try temporarily setting a different Weather Location in ... More » Settings » User Settings. Preferably a location near an important international airport, which may be quite far from your current location (it is just for the test). If the weather data updates without problems for the remote location, then it means the weather station for your current location is probably offline. In that case you can try either refreshing the current location, or setting a different location nearby manually.

    And if you did not, you should also try hard-reset the watch - sync, then press the Light button for some 30s till it completely shuts down (hold the button through the emergency alert, if it comes), wait little bit, and then restart. No worry, no data or settings will be lost with it. [more details]. I assume you already checked the permissions for the Connect app, and made sure all of them are enabled.

    I have an Instinct 2x solar tactical and my local weather temperature isn't syncing. I am very annoyed to be honest. I have restarted the watch (hard restart), I have verified permissions for location, I have restarted phone, I have hit sync a number of times, I have hard stopped and restarted the Connect app. My phone is showing the correct temp 3 degrees C but my watch is showing -2 degrees C. 

    This is inexcusable. There is no excuse for simply sync issues like this in 2025. Smart watches have been out for years. Years! 

    What is Garmin doing to fix this.

    I fixed it by going into the Connect app and changed from auto to manual location setting. How this works out in the future, I'll see but for the time being, it's a fix.
