Fenix 6s Pro Solar

Why is my fenix 6s pro solar panel suddenly not working? Even though the unit has never been bumped or exposed to water. Is there a firmware malfunction? I am using firmware 26.10. Last record november 2, 2024 at 13.00/1.pm

    Hello rahmat56 

    I am sorry to hear you are having this issue. Since you are using the Asian regional edition of the watch, SW version 26.10 is the latest available. I would recommend trying these additional steps.

    • Try cleaning the display. 
    • If you are using a screen protector, I would recommend removing this, as this can block solar charging. 
    • I would also recommend trying a hard reset. For this, hold the Light button until the watch shuts off, as opposed to selecting power off. Then power this on again. 
    • When testing solar charging, be sure you are outdoors in direct bright sunlight. And allow this to see a few hours of sunlight. Then see if the solar is registered in the Solar widget. 
    • If there is no change, I would recommend trying a factory reset with these steps: 
    1. Ensure the watch is powered Off
    2. Press and hold the Back and Start/Stop button
    3. Press Light to power the watch on, while holding these buttons
    4. After the first beep release Start/Stop
    5. After the second beep release the remaining button

    If this is still not working, the device may need to be replaced. For this, I would recommend contacting Garmin Product Support.

    i have been garmin indonesia distributor. but because this series of garmin goods has been discontinued. so waiting from garmin center 30 - 40 days
