Sleep Score Not Syncing to Health App on iPhone 16 Pro (iOS 18.0.1)

Hi everyone,

I recently upgraded to an iPhone 16 Pro running iOS 18.0.1, and I’m having issues syncing my sleep score from my Fenix 6 Sapphire (software version 27.00) to the Health app. With my previous iPhone XS on iOS 17, the sleep score synced perfectly, and I was able to track my sleep data without any problems.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue or if there’s a workaround to get the sleep data to show in the Health app on iOS 18.0.1?

Thanks in advance for your help!

  • Hi everyone,

Good news – I found a solution to get my Fenix 6 sleep score syncing to the Health app on my iPhone 16 Pro (iOS 18.0.1)! Surprisingly, it happened on its own after a simple step. Here’s what I did:

I started a workout on the Fenix 6, saved the activity after finishing, and then checked the Garmin Connect app on my iPhone. It seems that using the Connect app after the workout opened some kind of channel or connection, as my sleep score began syncing to the Health app immediately after.

If anyone else is facing the same issue, try this out – no other setup or troubleshooting was needed on my end. Hope this helps!

This should help others understand the solution you discovered and potentially resolve their issues as well.

  • If your sleep data still isn’t syncing automatically, there’s a manual fix that works for sure. Just follow these steps:

    1. Open the Garmin Connect app on your iPhone.
    2. Go to Settings.
    3. Select Connected Apps and then Apple Health.
    4. Tap Allow to ensure the data sharing permissions are set up correctly.

This should get the sleep data syncing smoothly. Hope this helps anyone still having trouble!
