Recently I picked up running again after a long break. I did three easy runs at a low pace this week. During my third run, I got a notification that my maximum heart rate was adjusted (lowered) to 179. This was surprising because I regularly have maximum heart rate values above 185 during spinning activities. Does the auto detection feature ignore measurements that are taking during non-running activities?
(Initially, I thought I did not care about this lowered max heart rate value. However, I noticed that values like "exercise load" and "recovery time" for my spinning activities suddenly increased quite a bit and I suspect that is caused by this lowered max heart rate value.)
