When HRV was introduced in a firmware update a few years ago, it obviously measured it for a period to establish "normal" for me. That first "normal" range, the lowest point was somewhere in the 40s, maybe 47. Over the time since, the range gradually changed so that the lowest point is currently (I think) 54. A few weeks ago, I started taking blood pressure medication and since then, my HRV is consistently in the 40s, mostly within what would have been originally classified as "balanced", but is now "low". I can't be certain that the lower HRV is a direct consequence of the medication but the timings match up and I haven't otherwise felt especially fatigued or unwell. On the contrary, my borderline blood pressure caused me considerable anxiety and I no longer feel this. But this change to my HRV obviously has knock on effects for sleep score, body battery and training status. I don't set a great deal of store in these statistics - if my sleep score/body battery is low but I feel refreshed, I go by how I feel. But currently, it does render the whole thing pointless, especially training status which is now "strained" all the time, even though I generally only have time to run twice a week.
So I have two linked questions about this. If my HRV remains in the mid 40s, will the status eventually start to regard this as within range and "balanced". And if not, is there a way of re-starting the evaluation period to establish a more accurate and up to date normal range.
