I am the owner of Garmin Fenix 6x, and my main activities are swimming (pool and open-water) and running, some cycling but not much.
This is a refurbished device; it is already outside the 1 year extra warrantee I got when I paid for it. Is it normal that I do not get Fenix 6x for more than 2 years?? I understand that Garmin has no legal obligation once the warrantee period has passed, but I was expecting this second watch to last a minimum of 4 or 5 years. My first one(before replacement) lasted 2 years and few months, and this second one almost 2 years.
I am using nrf connect from nordic to check if there is any attempt to reconnect from my watch to garmin connect via bluetooth, and so far no luck, I should be able to see advertising beacons, I have seen them a few times but not consistently.
From my MAC, I can see a device is connected via USB, but Garmin Express does not always recognice as connected, thus I cannot sync via the PC.
Connection has been bad already for a while, but somehow it seems to connect to my phone once there is an activity to be uploaded. Of cousre, continuous connection to check heart rate is no longer possible.
Things get even worse,I am issuing a new time setup by getting my position via gps, time is momentarily set to the correct time but few seconds later, it set back some random value again. It is not working even as watch??
Please Garmin, what can I do??,
