GPS stopped showing map when uploaded to Connect

Hi, I have a Fenix 5X. During my last three activities the GPS map does not show in Connect. I have not changed anything. Distance, pace, time, etc. values are all there but not the map of where I actually ran or did the workout.

What am I missing here? Thanks!

I am sorry to hear you are having trouble with the map not appearing in the Connect app. If the steps recommended by trux does not resolve, I would also recommend a hard reset as well…

Thanks, I've gone through that and tried to resolve but it has not worked.

It won't help with past activities, you have to record a new one, to test whether it helped. I recommend resetting the watch (hold the Ctrl button for ~30s), deleting the CPE or EPO file from //GARMIN/RemoteSW/, checking for updates with Garmin Express, and then recording another outdoor activity - starting it only once the watch shows the GPS lock.

Yes, tried recording several new ones. Firmware is up to date. Will try what you suggested. Thanks!

Also make sure GPS is enabled in the settings of the concerned activity profile, and not disabled in the Power Profile used in the activity, or by activating the Battery Saver.

I am sorry to hear you are having trouble with the map not appearing in the Connect app. If the steps recommended by trux does not resolve, I would also recommend a hard reset as well. For this, hold the Light button until the watch shuts off, as opposed to selecting Power Off. Then power this on again. This may help future activity maps to record and send.
