Heart Rate Monitor While Swimming (F6s Pro)

Hi there,

Yesterday I found that the "HR monitor while swimming" function can only provide an "Average" value but not a chart like real-time Heart Rate recording (similar to Running activity stat)

and in Heart Rate report, the HR line discontinues while in my swimming activities.

Question:

- Is this normal and what's called "HR monitor while swimming" on F6s Pro?

- Is there a way to consecutively monitor AND RECORD the Heart Rate so that in activity report > Heart Rate AND Heart Rate report show the consecutive line (similar to Running)?

I remember the Garmin Swimming Watch can make it, not sure if it's possible on F6s Pro.

Please advise.

Something's wrong. My swimming activities recorded with the F6S Pro show a complete heart rate graph. Do you use an external HR strap or are you trying to use the built in sensor?

Hi tmk2, thanks for your reply, sorry for the late responding.

I don't use external HR strap, but just use the built-in (on-watch) sensor.

I have F5XP, but found it does not support in-swimming HR monitor, so I tried F6SP, then I found it "seemed" records the HR as the HR data (number) was there, but in the chart, NO.

Do you use built-in (on-watch) sensor and you can see a consecutive HR line?

Just to complete the square do you have the setting for heart rate while swimming set to on?

Settings, Sensors and Accessories, Wrist Heart Rate, While Swimming, On

It's also more important than ever that the watch is fitting properly to ensure there is good contact with the skin during the swim - well clear of the wrist bone and tight enough that it cannot move.

Thanks for your reply and sorry I just see it, the notification did not send to my inbox.

I was not aware of the setting, after checking, I just turned the setting on for "while summing".
