Daily Suggested Workout - ‘No workout today. This is a scheduled rest day.’

I use Garmin’s daily suggested workout feature religiously. Since the recent update, I am receiving the following message:

’No workout today. This is a scheduled rest day.’

From reading other forums, this appears to be a bug - however would appreciate any current workarounds. I have completed the usual troubleshooting, including a hard reset etc.

After changing my birthdate my suggested workout has indeed changed (although it is still saying "Rest" but now due to fatigue). Hopefully the issue is now resolved, thank you.

Didnt work for me, still the same. Will wait for software fix.

Tried this again today and am still getting the “Rest. No workout today” suggestion. When is the software fix coming out?

i spoke too soon, my suggested workout is back to "scheduled rest day".

the daily suggestions are all wrong, I have chosen Friday or Saturday for a long training. And I have it planned for Sunday in my suggestions.

I do the same and i confirm . Stop saying « rest » also for me due to fatigue - ( trained this morning) - wait and see for tomorrow

Still not working for me and it seems like it has been feeding through to my metrics. Every ride I have done recently has my performance condition going deeply negative whereas before I was usually starting at around +5 and would head into -2 or -3, now I am -4 to -8 almost straight away and keep going more negative regardless of the kind of ride I do. Do we know when a fix is going to be available?

Try changing the smallest thing. IE: Change your User Profile > Heart Rate and Power Zones > Heart Rate > Max HR by just 1 number higher or lower. Then sync your watch with Garmin Connect.

I just worked with someone that did exactly that and after the sync was done through Garmin Connect, the Daily Suggested workout appeared again immediately after the sync.

I have just decreased Max HR by 1 and synced with Garmin Connect. Suggested workout still says "No workout today. This is a scheduled rest day". I'll check again in the morning.
