Single handed strength activities

I’ve just started using my F6x to record some strength training. Works ok for double handed exercises like bench, deadlift etc, but how do you all handle single handed activities?

I wear my watch on my left wrist, I figure I start an activity and do my left wrist set, then swap to my right. Do you all stop and start the set with the lap button and then go again for the right hand which is effectively a blank record, and then add the reps and weight after, or do you just put both left and right hands under 1 set? 20 reps instead of 2 x 10 L and R for instanc?
