Fenix 6s - faulty screen & vertical lines

I am fairly certain this is a hardware issue, but I wondered if anyone else has encountered this issue? My Fenix 6s became unresponsive, so I restarted it, and ever since it's been showing vertical lines.

I have restarted the watch several times and tried doing a hard reset, but it's difficult to reset when you can't see what's on the screen, so maybe I haven't done that successfully?

Any suggestions, or should I just contact Garmin? I'm wondering if it's worth contacting them as the watch is four years old!
