Music by Bluetooth issue

Do anybody have any issues with Bluetooth headphones (Samsung buds)? When I switch on training with gps (simple outdoor running) and listening to music at the same time there are clicks, cracks and interruptions.. and another question how is it working with schokz or mojava ?

Which model? Some headphones have the ability to connect you your watch as a footpod. When this happens, as soon as you start recording your activity, the sound cuts out or has other issues.

I have Sony WSP-800s They don't work well with my watch. They are fine when I'm only listening to music, but if anything else is connected (chest strap, trainer, footpad etc) it cuts out all the time.

There are only about 3 sets of headphones listed as working with the 6 iirc.

Probably not enough resources to test every single headphone out there, then support any issues that occur while using those "certified" headphones.

try connecting just one of the earphones (taking out just one of them from the box), start de activity, and then take out the other earphone. It works for some earphones. This is a Garmin fenix issue with some devices

My Sony WF-1000XM4 and Jabra 65t Elite Active work fine. I've tried the newer Jabra in-ears (75t, 85t, 7 series) and they are all suffering from dropouts. That's why I went for the Sonys as an alternative, but I haven't considered how much of a pain in the behind the touch controls would be. Hoping the 65ts will last me a while.

My point being, it's not quite a Garmin issue, it's a general reception issue. The watch probably doesn't transmit at the same power as a phone, being power limited, so if your headphones have suboptimally placed antennas, they will have reception issues with watches while working just fine paired to a phone.

With the latest firmware update the "adidas z.n.e. 01anc" works also fine with my Marq witch is similar to the fenix 6

My fenix 6 Pro Solar have no issues. Using a qualcomm AptX headset (Soundcore Life P2) I was running today, playing MP3 from the watch and using the "Track me" feature no popping or clicking. However when there is too many bluetooth devices around it could spoil the connection (like sometimes in the GYM) happening. You just have to deal with it.
