Sync issue with Garmin express

Initially it thought it was a cable issue that my Fenix 6s pro would not sync through Garmin express. I bought a new cable.

Now my watch connects then I get an error message saying "There was an error syncing with Garmin connect" then the watch restarts and repeats the process.

I have the latest version of Garmin Express. As a result I am unable to sync music with the watch.

  • The sync error you are receiving is an error between your watch and your Garmin Connect account caused by most likely, a corrupt file on your watch.

    Please try the following:

    - Sync your watch through your Connect Mobile APP to ensure everything has been successfully synced to your Garmin Connect account.

    NOTE: If you still receive an error syncing through Bluetooth through your Connect APP, there are no further options other than the next step.

    - Delete the contents of your watch Garmin\Activity folder on your computer.

    If you can identify an activity that has not uploaded, it will be that only one activity to be deleted off your watch. Otherwise, delete the entire contents and your issue should resolve.
