You need a running dynamics sensor, i.e. one of the following:
and the Garmin Power IQ data field from the IQ app store.
The running dynamics pod (RD pod) is probably the cheapest, if you don't need a HR strap.
With Fenix 6, you should get all other fields natively, except running power, which requires one of Garmin IQ power data fields (if I remember correctly). I used RD Pod with my Fenix 5+ successfully for…

tmk2: thank you, which is cheapest....any non garmin similar products? ;)

what about program, Garmin Power IQ data field? thanks!
With Fenix 6, you should get all other fields natively, except running power, which requires one of Garmin IQ power data fields (if I remember correctly). I used RD Pod with my Fenix 5+ successfully for three years (before upgrading to Forerunner 965 and HRM Pro+).
I must be doing something wrong cause i don't see the data :(
Sorry, by "natively" I meant that with RD Pod (or one of the listed straps) you'll see running dynamics without any IQ app. But for power, you'll probably need an IQ app (at least Fenix 5+ does, Fenix 7 doesn't, but I can't remember what's the case of Fenix 6).
But for power, you'll probably need an IQ app
That's correct. The F6 doesn't have native running power support, therefore an IQ data field is required.
what IQ app should I use? or is it IQ data field?
