I understand but kind of disappointing - No "automobile" or "atv" activity type.

I have the Fenix 6X Pro.  It's a great watch and I love it so far. Very useful.  But there are some things that would be easy to implement, but not implemented.

I guess I understand.  This is a sports and fitness watch. So, it isn't setup for everything.  But I think the activity types, should include "automobile".  As it is the only activity types are running, walking, biking, and other.  Here's the problem. I venture to say EVERYONE who has one of these, has tried to use it in a vehicle.  The problem is, when using Navigations, and no "automobile", navigation routes on roads that are bike, walking, hiking frendly.  No freeways, or major roads.

Tracking works fine. It will track, on whatever path, road, or grass field you traverse. Even vehicles work.

I'd like to enter a destination, and have it find a route that is "quickest" or "shortest", like most GPS.  I don't expect it to be as good as my Garmin 700i, but when it gives me a 30 minute route, that should be 5 minutes, by avoiding every major road or freeway, it's not very useful.

Is there any workaround for this? Seems like an easy thing to do.

Problem 2: Why no audio, for some alerts? Also seems easy to do.  Like an announcement when a distance or time aleart is reached.  Workaround?  Laps and heartbeat are about the only alerts that have audio to let you know the criteria is met.  With just text, one is almost certain to miss it.  No audio, no vibration.

Thanks

Mike
