Missing beep/vibration alert after GPS signal detection

Good morning: almost a month has passed without updates and I would like to know if you have already encountered the problem of the delay in call notifications and the beep and vibration notification when locating GPS satellites before starting an activity.
This was reported a long time ago and I'm surprised it hasn't been fixed yet.

    Thanks i found a pattern to reproduce, or "reactivate" beep/vibration.   

    Do not Disturb (DND) - Off (default mode and/or my initial setting)

    • then Beep/Vibration - KO

    ---

    Do not Disturb (DND) - On

    • then Beep/Vibration - OK

    ---

    I can reproduce it each time !

    Before any Hard Reset and for sure losing some logs, what do you think of ?

    that is weird...doesn't that mean notifications from the phone won't be received or something?

    I have no other problem on my watch Sweat smile

    without DND, notifications, alarm, beep, vibration everything work. For example, during Follow Course tunr-by-turn works as expected or strength "set" ...

    So to be clear I put DND to ON, I have vibration and notification for GPS lock fixed. But phone notifications will not work etc.?

    Or do you mean I put DND to ON then I put it to OFF and vibration and notification for GPS is fixed?

    Sorry, I am a bit confused, but I can re-update my watch and try afterwards.

    simply enabling DND "on", is a fix for me.

    But no notifications, so it's normal behaviour for notif

    Got it, so it sounds like there is a bug there if you have to use DND to get notifications for GPS lock which you should not get in DND ON, and then it does not work with DND OFF

    I upgraded to v26.0 along with all the sensor updates again. DND on or off does not do anything for me. It all seems too random at this point. I stay in one place, GPS goes full green, no notification/vibration. I move 5 meters to one side, GPS goes full green, getting the vibration/notification and then I exit the activity and re-enter it 5 minutes later, GPS loads to green, no notification/vibration. I am going to downgrade again, I did a lot of tests on the fw 22.10 and everytime I got a GPS lock notification/vibration. I did attempt going to v24 something but that had the same issue as v26.0. My watch initially came with v23 something when I bought it and that had no issues.

    One other thing I noticed, on v26.0 GPS never seems to go Red->Orange->Green or Red->full Green as it does on v22.10, it always go Red->Green or Red-almost full Red->Green

    Many thanks for your feedback and tests, it seems to be software relevant because downgrade solved it.

    Do you have to restore your settings each time you downgrade ?

    Do you try to to Hard Reset your watch when you are running system 26.00 as suggested by  ?

    I'm waiting a bit before testing this last resort test "hard reset".
