After recent update I've noticed a bug with incoming notifications.
Very often they simply "hang" - they do not appear in full screen, but overlap the watch face.

I have a feeling that 26 is going to be the last firmware.
Our engineering team has confirmed that there will be new Beta phases and official software releases for the Fenix 6 series.
The…
Engineering is aware of the issue and it remains escalated with them to be resolved as soon as possible.
Update May 23, 2024:
Our engineering team has indicated this should now be resolved with the Public Software version 27.00.
Hi, bug was reported but not fixed, same situation for hanging notf ...
Garmin - Chris Do you know if engineering created a bug list to be fixed in the next release ? During Beta we saw "Ticket Created" but nothing about the ticket ID, roadmap or not.
Updated October 9th, 2023:
The issue continues to be worked on by our engineering team.
Hi and thanks ;-)
Do we have to contact you even if a ticket was open for us during Beta phase ?
Non-default watchface? Does this happen with the stock watchfaces as well?
I haven't checked that. The point is that I did not have this issue before the latest update.
Yes please. When I make a new case, it will merge with the ticket created during the Beta process. I will then be able to receive updates on the issue and I will be able to track it for everyone to ensure the issue gets resolved. Thank you socorsu. Good question.
So shall I send a private message to report it?
And it is quite common that after a firmware update, Connect IQ apps developer need to update their apps to comply with the new firmware. If they don't do this, strange issues can occur like misbehavior, battery drain and so on.
Can you try it with the stock watchface and see if the issue persists? If not, it's most likely the watchface that needs an update.
Connect IQ Apps version did get changed with v26, thats why I'm asking.
Are you sure or you are just guessing?
You don't know what is the root cause but you suggest checking with a stock watchface... It's like suggesting factory reset every time when there is any issue with the watch. In a bug report mentioned by socorsu you can see that other users also have similar problem. So first Garmin should identify a cause, then developers should be informed if any changes are required in their apps.
ok then...
Garmin - Chris - I am sending you also a provate message.
